Being straight with you: this is not built yet

I am building QuoteSnug on my own, in the evenings, because I run a repair business and got tired of the paperwork. Nothing above is live yet and I am not taking any money.

What I want first is to know whether tradespeople actually want this. Leave your email and I will tell you when there is something real to try. If enough people want it, I build it. If not, I will not waste your time.

Is it available yet?
No. It is in development and I am gathering interest before building it, so the thing that gets built is the thing people actually need. Sign up and you will get one email when it is ready to try.
How much will it cost?
£10 a month for one person, 14-day free trial, no card needed to start. No seat minimum — most trade software charges per user, and at least one will not sell to you at all unless you have ten employees.
Who is it for?
UK tradespeople working on their own — electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, repair technicians, decorators, handypeople, gardeners. One van, one pair of hands, paperwork in the evening.
Will it file my tax return?
No, and I would rather say so plainly. Filing to HMRC needs certification that is out of scope for a first version. QuoteSnug keeps your quotes and invoices in order and exports records your accountant can use — which matters as Making Tax Digital for Income Tax phases in from April 2026. Here is a plain-English guide to what actually changes.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. It runs in a phone browser with nothing to install. If you can send a text message, you can raise a quote.
